Layne Butt’s practice focuses on representing companies and high-net-worth individuals in business and real estate matters. In particular, Layne emphasizes his practice in all aspects of real estate development, including acquisition, development and disposition of residential, retail, industrial and office projects, common interest communities, timeshare, finance (including workouts, restructures and foreclosures), construction, leasing and the formation of investment vehicles.
Layne has represented sellers, buyers, investors, developers, lending institutions and other interests in wide ranging transactions, including mixed-and-single use developments, including high rise condominiums; master-planned and other common interest communities; office and industrial complexes; power and retail centers; hotel/casinos; other resort and entertainment destinations; golf courses; apartments; commercial leasing; timeshare development, registration and sales; interstate land sales full disclosure act registrations; and acquisition, development, construction, permanent and receivables financings, including workouts, restructuring and foreclosures. He also has represented companies and individuals in general business transactions, including asset sales and purchases, entity formation and on-going doing business issues.
